My special autumn break
Hello everyone! I am back to writing blog after a long time. This autumn break was really fun and exiting. I did a lot things, coked a lot of food, went to visit a lot of places, watched movies and series, celebrated halloween with family but especially we celebrated a Nepali hindu festival which is called Tihar.
Tihar is a festival where we celebrate and thank god for gifting us sibling, brothers and sister, who always protect and look after each other. I woke early on Tuesday ( Tihar day ) and me and my brother prepared a lot of special Nepali dishes which are absolutely delicious, and then and for the ceremony where we put tika ( something we put in forehead as a form of blessing ) with seven different colours that represent different aspect and goals of life, give gifts and goods to each other and wish for the wellbeing of one another. After preparing everything we put tika on each other's forehead, wished for a better, healthy and bright future ahead. After ceremony it was our part time, we all danced and sang, enjoyed each other's company.
It was so memorable because we had holiday whole week and enjoyed and celebrated Tihar not only one day but the whole week. I would also like to wish that every sibling may have love and respect for each other not just this day but everyday. A very happy Tihar from me and my brother to you and yours.
